The Practice:

We are members of the Association of Consulting Engineers, the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Institution of Highways & Transportation, the Society of Construction Law and the Law Society Directory of Expert Witnesses. The practice has been established for 30 years and is backed by comprehensive professional indemnity insurance. Modern office technology is employed to ensure a high level of efficiency, communication and presentation. Computer-aided design and analysis systems are used for speed and accuracy, and to keep fees as low as possible. The practice subscribes to the British Standards Institution and the Building Research Establishment to ensure that British Standards and technical references are kept fully up to date.

Structural Inspection and Design Service:

The bulk of our work is concerned with inspecting and reporting on structural problems or defects, and preparing structural design calculations and drawings for new buildings, alterations, extensions and refurbishments.

Expert Witness Service:

We are highly experienced in acting as expert witness and single joint witness in claims involving personal injury or building defects:

Personal Injury :-	slipping & tripping on highways, footpaths, steps and stairs, falling from buildings & accidents on construction sites, injuries due to collapsing structures
Building defects:-	Poor workmanship, defective materials, inadequate design, professional negligence, subsidence claim disputes, flooding, drainage defects.

CDM Planning Supervisor Service:

The CDM (Construction Design & Management) Regulations apply to most non-domestic works. Clients are required by law to employ a Planning Supervisor to vet and document the health & safety aspects of the work. We are qualified to provide this service.
